Gerretsen Building Supply Celebrated 100th Anniversary with Community Event

JULY 27, 2023, ROSEBURG, OR — Gerretsen Building Supply, a division of TAL Holdings, celebrated 100 years of service by hosting a community celebration last Saturday. The event featured vendor demonstrations, outdoor games, and a raffle.

The celebration ran from 10 am to 2 pm at Gerretsen Building Supply. Community members were able to partake in celebratory festivities, including various outdoor activities and games like a bounce house, face painting, corn hole, Jenga, and Connect 4. Bun Stuffer and Rolling Thunder BBQ food trucks served hamburgers, BBQ, and various sides. Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in a dunk tank, with all proceeds benefiting the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Additionally, four raffle winners brought home special prizes, including a Traeger Pro Series 22 Wood Pellet Grill, Milwaukee Packout 22” Rolling Toolbox, Milwaukee M12 Hatchet 6” 12V Pruning Saw Kit, or a gardening tools prize bucket.

“From contractors looking for a materials take-off or homeowners seeking the best stain for their decks, we’ve prided ourselves on helping our customers find the right solution for their building needs for 100 years,” said Branch Manager Pamm Smith. “We’re humbled by the impressive turnout this weekend, and we sincerely appreciate everyone who came to show their support and celebrate with us.”
